Men’s casual shoes: The range
Some of our notable models include the fresh 247 and our legendary collection of 574 trainers. Each model we design has its own unique style, but always with the recognisable New Balance finishing touches and industry-leading technical detail. For a lifestyle shoe that excels in durability and comfort, go for the classic New Balance 990, which has a thirty-year legacy, and is known for its advanced cushioning and stability. Part of our Made in US range, the shoes are manufactured using the finest craftmanship, and built out of lightweight pigskin leather.
New Balance: The history
New Balance was founded in 1906, and started out by manufacturing pioneering arch supports to make shoes fit better and improve balance for wearers. Since then we’ve stuck with the same philosophy: to continuously invent, innovate and challenge the norm, making sure our shoes are as comfortable and high-performing as they are effortlessly stylish. We’ve come a long way, but have always stayed true to our roots – still to this day using our domestic factories in New England in the US, and Flimby, Cumbria in the UK to produce our premium quality Made in US and Made in UK collections.
